Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09
1. Who we are
This policy explains how [Company name] Ltd., company no. [number], [address] ("Tasky"), the owner of the Tasky database, collects and uses personal information, under the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981 and its regulations.
2. What we collect, and why
Account details (email, name, phone, profile photo) — to create and run your account and let the other side of a booking identify you.
Booking details (service, date, address, job description, messages, photos you send) — to arrange and carry out the service, and as evidence if there is a dispute.
Payment details — card and Bit payments are processed by our payment processor; Tasky does not store full card numbers. For providers, payout details (bank or Bit, and ID number) — to pay you.
Provider identity documents and certificates — to verify identity and, where relevant, suitability to work with minors. These are especially sensitive and are only seen by authorised Tasky staff.
Device information and notification tokens — to send you the notifications you choose. Location is used only when you choose to share it.
3. Is providing information required?
You are not legally obliged to give us information. However, without the details marked as required we cannot open an account, complete a booking, pay a provider or verify identity.
4. Who receives your information
The other side of your booking, only what is needed: providers see your first name and initial, the address and job details of their bookings; clients see the provider's public profile.
Service providers that operate Tasky for us: hosting and database (Supabase, servers in the EU), payment processing ([processor]), push notifications and email delivery. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Transfer outside Israel
Our database is hosted in the European Union, which provides a level of protection recognised under Israeli law. Our service providers are bound to protect the information and not to transfer it further except as permitted.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal information, except records the law requires us to keep (such as financial and tax records) or that are needed for an open dispute, which we keep for the period the law requires.
7. Security
We protect information in line with the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 2017, including access controls, encryption in transit and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure; if a serious incident occurs we will act as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us. You can delete your account yourself in the app.
9. Marketing messages
We send marketing messages only if you agreed to receive them. You can withdraw at any time in Profile → Notification settings, or through the link in any message. Service messages about your bookings are not marketing and are sent regardless.
10. Age
Tasky is intended for people aged 18 and over.
11. Contact and changes
